FAQs
What do you use to create visuals?
I personally use Procreate to create illustrations, then Figma to create visuals (like the ones in the example for John Franklin and Gianni Cara. You can access a free Figma account to get started.
Will I be learning how to illustrate?
No. This isn't an illustration course. If you already illustrate, I will help you refine your visuals to incorporate illustrations into your brand. Otherwise, we'll be working to create visuals similar in structure to the examples from John Franklin and Gianni Cara.
Is this a live course?
We're running this live for 30 days. You'll need to participate in those thirty days, creating visuals daily and engaging with the group. The group Zoom calls are optional.
What are there any prerequisites to being successful?
Yes, but you don't need to start with existing design skills. The prerequisites are:
- Engage and support cohort members on Twitter and Discord
- Publish 25 visuals (daily after first 5 days)
- Combine these visuals into a minimum 4 threads
- Create a Figma account
